2008 Ford Focus

The 2008 Ford Focus is a completely redesigned and brand new platform for the Ford Focus which brings it into its second generation. New this year is the two-door coupe in addition to a four-door sedan model while the hatchbacks and station wagons say goodbye this year.

The Engine choices have come in the form of the 2.0L Duratec Inline-4 offered in the previous generation but this time it gets a boost in power, up to 140HP from 136HP as well as an increase in torque to 136FTLB of torque.


Fuel Economy has been vastly improved by means of a new aerodynamic design and reduce in weight, bringing the 2008 Ford Focus to an EPA-estimated 24MPG in the city and 35MPG on the highway and comes only in a 5-speed manual transmission this year.

Accompanied with a 5-speed manual transmission, the 2.0L Duratec engine is capable of over 27MPG in the city and 37MPG on the highway, with an Automatic Transmission being an option as well.
